Native Seas: Traditional Micronesian Navigators Visit the Bay Area

An Indigenous Technologies and New Media & Oceans week-long educational program bringing traditional navigators from the Northern Mariana Islands to the Bay Area for events including a celestial navigation presentation at the California Academy of Science's Morrison Planetarium, a keynote lecture on the UC Berkely campus, and a traditional boat-building workshop at Waterside Workshops.  Read more
